AV ENGINEERING Introduction
Our company has been operating on the market since 1993 providing a unique combination of development and design services and top CAx/PLM knowledge solutions aimed at developing new products in mechanical engineering.
The products and services supplied by AV ENGINEERING are characterised by high added value allowing our customers to make principal changes in the organization and quality of new products development, resulting in the ability to market products of higher utility value, in a shorter time and at lower costs.
The knowledge and experience of AV ENGINEERING specialists and the product- and customer-orientated approach is a guarantee of high quality of the services provided by AV ENGINEERING.
The experience gained in information technology implementation is utilized in construction project design and vice versa.
Past and present
| 1993 | Company’s incorporation. Delivery, implementation and technical support of a unique PTC’s Pro/ENGINEER® designing system became the main activity of the company. |

| 1995 | Establishment of the Engineering Division as another logical step in the gradual expansion of the AV ENGINEERING business line in the sphere of direct support of products in our customers’ workplaces with orientation on the automotive industry and other industries. |
| 1996 | Establishment of the Technical Calculations Division with the clear objective to provide complete support to our customers in developing their products including special expertise in analyses and simulations of virtual prototypes. |
| 1999 | Change of the company’s business name from ZPS-SYSTEMS, a.s. to AV ENGINEERING, a.s. |
| 2000 | Development and design services became a strategic component in the product line. |
| 2001 | Enhancing the expertise in CAE analyses and simulations (light system projecting and implementation, CETOL toleration analyses, forming process simulations, etc.) |
| 2003 | AV ENGINEERING expanded its activities in developing and designing production lines, manipulators and metering and inspection fixtures. |
| 2004 | The spectrum of analyses and simulations provided by our company was extended by CFD analyses. AV ENGINEERING started partnership with Blue Ridge Numerics Inc. and became the distributor of Blue Ridge Numerics Inc. for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. |
| 2005 | AV ENGINEERING becomes the most successful Value Added Reseller of PTC® in the EE territory. It obtains the status of Maintenance Services Provider for PTC and Platinum VAR products. |
| 2006 | Full inclusion of PTC’s PLM products on Windchill® basis in the AV ENGINEERING business line. |
| 2007 | AV ENGINEERING extends its product line about Arbortext, technical publications solution of PTC. |
| 2008 | New corporate office in Plzeň, 4th office of AV ENGINEERING means better access to education and consultation services for customers of West Bohemia. |
| 2010 | AV ENGINEERING becomes a preferred Windchill® partner of PTC. |
In the field of design and development services, AV ENGINEERING focuses on a long-term cooperation with leading EU producers specialized in the automobile, transport, consumer and electro-technical industries. The share of export of design and development services is 70%.
The flexibility, knowledge and experience of the AV ENGINEERING specialists and the adaptable development process have become the guarantee of successful and reliable cooperation with partners across the industry.
The ability to eliminate risks arising from cooperation in global development allows AV ENGINEERING to concentrate solely on the productivity and quality of the provided services.
